How long does it take to get articles or books through Interlibrary Loan?

The average time to receive an article is 3-4 days, but allow up to seven days in case we have trouble finding a library with the particular journal or magazine issue that contains your desired article. The average time to receive a book is 10-14 days due to shipping time. ILL staff will keep you informed via email if a request takes longer than expected to fulfill.
