How can I obtain books from the library's physical collection if I am a distance learner?

If you need a book from our collection and and are enrolled in one of Meredith's distance learning programs, we can mail it to you. Fill out the Distance Learner Book Request Form for each book that you need. Please allow up to 7-10 days for delivery. When you mail an item back to our library, use the US Postal Service and choose their "Media Mail" rate. Fill out the Postage Credit Form with the amount you spent on postage, and we will process a credit to your student financial account.
If you live in the Triangle region and need the book sooner, you may wish to visit the library and pick it up in person.
If you only need one or two chapters from a book, fill out the Distance Learner Book request form and indicate the needed chapter(s) in the Additional Information field. Depending on the length of the chapters, we may be able to scan and email one or both chapters. Note that we cannot scan more than two chapters due to copyright restrictions. Please allow 1-2 business days for processing.
